Who we are

Orbit Studio is the trading name of Hamid Aziz, a sole trader based in Manchester, United Kingdom. Hamid Aziz is responsible for the personal information described here. For anything about your information, email hello@orbitstudio.co.uk.

If you get in touch

When you use the workflow audit form or email us, we receive your name, your business, your work email address and what you choose to tell us about your operation.

We use it to reply, to arrange and hold a conversation about your enquiry, and, if we work together, to prepare a proposal and deliver the work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps you ask for before entering into a contract.

If we contacted you first

We introduce Orbit Studio to service businesses that may benefit from it. To do that we use business contact details that are publicly available — from company websites, Companies House and business directories: a name, role, company and business email address.

We only send unsolicited emails to limited companies and limited liability partnerships, never to sole traders or ordinary partnerships without their consent. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in offering relevant services to businesses.

You can ask us to stop at any time: reply to any email with “unsubscribe”, or email hello@orbitstudio.co.uk. We then stop contacting you and keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, so that we don't contact you again.

This website

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without identifying visitors. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site securely.

Who else handles it

We do not sell or share your information for marketing. It is handled by the services we use to run the studio: Netlify (website hosting and form submissions) and Microsoft (business email). Some of these providers process data outside the UK; where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we go on to work together.
• Clients: for the length of the engagement, and business records for six years afterwards, as UK tax rules require.
• Outreach contacts who don't reply: deleted within 12 months.
• Do-not-contact list: kept for as long as we contact businesses, so that your request is respected.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict how we use it, or object to our using it — including an absolute right to object to direct marketing. Email hello@orbitstudio.co.uk and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
